international lgbtq+ book giveaway

I started my bookstagram account @anniesreadingtips just three weeks ago, and I’m so happy and grateful that you already are more than 400 followers! That’s amazing! To celebrate that and to show more of what I want my bookstagram to be about I’ve decided to host a giveaway.

The reason for starting this new account was to feel free to be more creative and try out this new idea I had with posting three posts at a time around a specific topic and to do panoramic photos, as well as to focus on and spread my love for LGBTQ+ and diverse books.

Reading gives you such an amazing opportunity to see the world through someone else’s eyes. Books are therefore a great means to making the world a more open-minded, emphatic and better place. It’s one of the reasons why I love to read diverse YA books, and especially books with LGBTQ+ representation. With this bookstagram account I will try my best to share and promote those books. Even though we have come a long way it’s unbelievable how much still remains to be done until everyone is guaranteed the unconditional right to love whomever their heart desires and to be true to who they are, without being afraid of retaliations.
